Summer Swap Meet and Greet

Local thrift stores and consignment shops around the country have seen a significant increase in patronage leaving the Neiman & Marcuses trying to figure out how to increase sales. Current economic conditions have encouraged once lavish spenders to cut back and save their money for a rainy day.

D.C. resident and arts consultant Seshat Walker of The General Store Inc is hosting a summer clothing swap meet and greet on Saturday, May 15 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M at the Warehouse Loft located on 411 New York Avenue in Northeast DC. $7 admission fee will be charged.
