TRENDSPOTTING: The Trench Coat Dress

This spring you may be wanting a new trench coat as an overcoat. But designers have blended this iconic staple with a basic shirtdress. Voilà - a trench coat dress. The majority of your options are basic tan or black. But I found a few execeptions. My favorite is the Karen Millen dress at ASOS.

From Top Middle clockwise: Tory Burch, Bergdorf Goodman, $350.00; Alexander Wang, Nordstrom, $595.00; Karen Millen, ASOS, $319.53; Maison Martin Margiela, Saks, $1275.00; Lois Lane, Shabby Apple, $79.00; Burberry, $2595.00; BJK Couture, $94.95; Talbots, $139.00; Rachel Roy, Macy's, $52.12.

Look Who's Turning Heads - Celebrity: Gwen Stefani

I love, love, love Gwen Stefani. Reason: Her "I don't need to look like everyone else" attitude. Reminds me of me...LOL! Her style is so unpredictable unlike SO MANY CELEBRITIES. She keeps you guessing. But her surprises for me are always good ones. I can not really think of a time when I thought that she did not look good. You go, Gwen. Keep setting the pace!

Look Who's Turning Heads - Celebrity: Rihanna

I love Rihanna and her fab style. First of all, I love a woman who can rock a short hair cut says the woman is totally is rocking a short hair cut. I also love the way she puts outfits together regardless of keeping with the current trends. She does her own thing - always. You go Rihanna!
