Fashion Designer Spotlight: Hoss Intropia es Muy Bueno!

Hoss Intropia is for the woman who knows who she is and is not afraid to flaunt it. The Spanish clothier creates collections that are eclectic and for "the real flesh and blood women, without any age or size barriers." Really? We thank you.

Designer Spotlight: Spanish Designer Elisa Palomino

Spanish fashion designer, Elisa Palomino caught my attention because I saw a few images of her F/W 2010 Collection and her flair for the dramatic was so intriguing that I had to go and check it out for myself. She pull together quite a few trends into one collection. Normally, I don't feel like that works but in Palomino's case, it just made you want more. It was cohesive because each piece brought its own drama to the runway. My fav without a doubt is the flapper-style dress with the fringes. Love that. {images via Elle.com}

Fashion Designer Spotlight: The Art of Asymmetry & Max Azria

I am in love with the Max Azria's asymmetrical line in his spring 2010 collection. I am especially lovin' the cutouts adding another dimension to the asymmetry. Gives it a little extra special something in my opinion. I am totally lusting over the first dress, even though I look horrible in pale nude. I wished that it was available in white. For me, that would be the perfect summer dress. See his entire collection at BCBGMAXAZRIA.

Designer Spotlight: Back to Africa with Duro Olowu

Nigerian-born Duro Olowu has been in love with textures and fabrics since he was a child. So it seemed very natural for him to bypass a legal career for a career in fashion. Twelve months after the debut of his October 2004 collection, Olowu won the prestigious BFA "Designer of the Year" award in 2005. He has been upward and onward every since. His collections always stay true to his African roots. Here are some of my favorites from the Duro Olowu Collection at CoutureLab.

Fashion Designer Spotlight: That Handmade Touch @ Art on Crafts

This is their story. They worked for a leather company in Chiangmai, Thailand. But as you know, the world's economy took a downturn and the factory where they worked closed. So what should leather artisans do? Start their own company, of course. You should be glad that they did. These leather bags are beyond fabulous. Not to mention that their prices are exceptional. You can order one of these amazing bags at Art on Crafts.

Designer Spotlight: Statement Jewelry @ Doloris Petunia

In addition to my shoe addiction, I love jewelry. I especially love big chunky jewelry. If you see around town, trust me, I am sporting something big and unusual around my neck and lots of bracelets. So when I came across Doloris Petunia's web site, I fell in love. It was so hard for me to choose favorites because I loved everything. I also loved how she used color to make a bold and beautiful statement. So her entire collection here. These are some of my favorites.
