DC FASHION EVENT: FASHION INDUSTRY MIXER

Join us for an evening of networking and celebration at our Fashion Industry Mixer on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6-8pm at Panache, located at 1725 Desales Street NW, Washington, DC 20036. The evening will start off with a panel discussion of fashion industry professionals on the success and challenges of doing business in the Greater Washington area followed by an open floor Q & A, and the official launch of Shop Creative DC! Shop Creative DC was developed by the DC Fashion Foundation under a grant from the Office of the Mayor through the D.C. Department of Housing and Community Development with the assistance of the D.C. Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs. The businesses listed in this directory fall within the creative economy in D.C. Based on the Mayor's Creative DC Action Agenda Report, creative businesses are grouped into seven categories including Building Arts, Performing Arts, Media and Communications, Visual Arts, Museums and Heritage, and Retail.
