HELP HELLO CUPCAKE TO SUPPORT CAMPAIGN AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Did you know one in four women will be a victim of domestic violence in their lifetime? In DC alone, 31,232 calls were placed to 9-1-1 in 2009 related to domestic violence. I think that is so outrageous. The Capitol Fashionista stands with Hello Cupcake to support an end to domestic violence.

So help Hello Cupcake stand up to domestic violence! 100% of the sales of purple ribbon cupcakes today will go to support the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence (DCCADV). Purchase early and often to support women and children who need our help.

About Hello Cupcake: Hello Cupcake is a gourmet cupcakery that opened in 2007 in Dupont Circle, and a second shop is planned for the Capitol Hill neighborhood that will open in early 2011. The shop carefully integrates delicious food and high design. Cupcakes are baked from scratch all-day, everyday in small batches with fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. The store is open Monday - Thursday from 10am - 7pm; Friday and Saturday from 10am- 9pm and Sundays 11 am to 6 pm. The shop offers over 50 flavors with new, limited and seasonal flavors regularly added to the menu. For a complete list, see the website at www.hellocupcakeonline.com.
