Posted by the capitol fashionista Labels: fashion blog, forever 21, look who's turning heads, twelve by twelveThe Twelve by Twelve line at Forever 21 is one of my favorite lines among the chains. I love it edgy style and wonderful use of colors. This line uses colors that you don't see all the time. That's one reason why I love it. Another reason why I love it is because it looks grown-up. Forever 21 is for the young. But Twelve by Twelve is the mature big sister that has loads of class, style but with a funky twist that will turn heads for sure. These are my picks at Twelve by Twelve. See more here.

Look Who's Turning Heads: Hale Bob

Feather balls on shoes, vibrant colors and patterns and unusual silhouettes set this brand apart. These are my favs (of course there would be shoes). See the entire collection here.

I want to spotlight one celebrity each week that I believe has got the fashion thing down (at least for that week...lol). My pick this week is Amy Adams. I love this look and of course she is wearing my most favorite designer, Giambattista Valli. Love him! She looks amazing. Well done.

Indie Spotlight: Sparkling Lotus Design
Posted by the capitol fashionista Labels: etsy, fashion blog, indie designer, indie spotlightIn our neverending effort to showcase indie designers, we are spotlighting indie jewelry designer, Sparkling Lotus Design. These amazing pieces are created with semi-precious stones, shells, wood, glass, crystal, and some vintage materials in an effort to explore the relationships between texture and color. It is evident that these pieces pull from nature and various cultures to give each piece a very unique look. I loved every piece in this collection. It was hard to choose a favorite, so I posted all of my favorites. There are plenty fabulous choices in this shop. See for yourself here.
