On Thursday, October 15, 2009, Elizabeth Mandros Miller, Owner of Mystique Jewelers in Old Town Alexandria will host a special event to celebrate the two year anniversary of Alberto Parada's eco-friendly jewelry line. In August, Miller who has a gift for sourcing the “best of the best” joined forces with Parada, who now works exclusively from his new design studio at Mystique Jewelers, where he showcases his designs.

The event is free to the public with an RSVP as there is limited space. Beautiful South American music will fill the air, as attendees sip Malbec and Mojitos and taste delicious, authentic Argentine hors d'ouevres.

About Alberto Parada

Award winning designer Alberto Parada is the 2009 winner of the JCK Jewelers Choice Award for Best Necklace. Born in New York City in 1968, Alberto Parada is equally at home in the United States or in his parent's native South America, where he spent much of his youth. Today he lives in Washington DC but travels frequently to Paraguay and Uruguay.
