After stints at Lanvin, Rochas and Hermès, French designer Guillaume Hinfray turned his focus to shoes with a collaboration with Bottega Venetta and working as Chief Designer at the shoe haven, Salvatore Ferragamo. He branched out on his own in 2002 to put his mark on the world. He labels his unique style, "brutish finishing and 'underground' elements." I would say that is spot on. This collection has ridges and unusual shapes with very vibrant colors. Guillaume Hinfray sets himself apart from the pack. These are my favs. See his entire collection here.
